We are an ‘invitation only’,  commercial ad-free, member supported mixed media art studio and sanctuary for spiritual creatives where you will find safe space to create in whatever medium excites you. Our space is here for you to stretch and explore, to experiment and engage, to connect and love your Self and others.

WPS is lovingly managed by Effy Wild and Jeanette House. To gain membership, you must apply and your application must be approved.

1) Your name (or what you go by on line).

2) At least one on line presence that you maintain (your Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, blog, or website). Please note all WPS members *must have an on line presence. We find this prevents trolling & spam and maintains a high quality of membership.

3) How you found us and why you think you’d be a good fit for The Studio.

Please put STUDIO APPLICATION in the subject line and give us between 24 – 48 hours to approve your application and send your e-mail invitation.

What do you mean by ‘spiritual creatives’?

Spiritual Creatives are those for whom the making of art (what we call ’arting’ around here) is an act of devotion, meditation, offering, prayer, or contemplation. For us Spiritual Creatives (or EssCees for short), arting is a sacred activity that brings us into conscious contact with the divine as we understand it. While this site has a spiritual component it is completely unaffiliated with any particular religion, denomination, sect, creed, or set of principles. All are welcome here, including atheists, pantheists, deists, theists, panentheists, agnostics, mystics, gnostics, monotheists, polytheists…you get the picture. The focus is on the spirituality of art, and what we do here is art with spirit. If that sounds like something you’re into, you are most welcome to join in!

Some Basic Rules To Consider:

Advertising without permission is absolutely forbidden. You are welcome to post a link in your profile, or use your on site blog to write about your project, workshop, website, giveaway, program, or other non-Wild Precious related endeavour, but anyone using our forums, activity stream, or photo stream to promote their stuff will be removed from the site after one written warning. If you have something you’d like to promote at Wild Precious, send a proposal to wildpstudio@gmail.com. We have very reasonable ad rates, but ad space is only available to active participants.

What happens at Wild Precious, stays at Wild Precious. No, we’re not quite Las Vegas, but we do have intense discussions around personal truth, abuse recovery, addictions, spiritual challenges and triumphs, and other topics that are best had in a safe environment. Sharing what you read here with anyone who is not a member is a breach of our trust.

We have a few more rules, since living in community requires that standards of behaviour be explicitly expressed, but they are fairly basic. Once you’ve joined us, please read our terms of service (bottom of the site) before diving in! Please note that by participating in the site, you are acknowledging that you’ve read our terms.
